MAPPING THE BRAIN 2016
Studio Connect's “Silver Lining” is exhibited as part of the Map Project: Where I Live exhibition. In 2016, Belconnen Arts Centre has joined with the community in celebrating 50(+ 50,000) years of Belconnen. The Map Project: Where I Live will be part of the celebrations. This iteration of The Map Project continues artists’ explorations of the meaning of the place we call home, which began with artist Istra Toner in Croatia in 2013 and has spread to the UK and now Australia.
Studio Connect Artists began this process of mapping the brain collaboratively, it began with an exploration of external and internal influences (like memory and experiences) that effect us.
